Skills for Life

1st Bennetts End Scout Group has been serving the community in and around Bennetts End since 1955.

Welcome to 1st Bennetts End

Scouting offers challenge and adventure to 400,000 young people and 100,000 adults across the UK.

We believe in helping our members fulfil their potential by working in teams, learning by doing and thinking for themselves. We give people of every background the chance to stretch themselves, learn new skills and make life long friends.

We have over 60 young people across Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and we’ve been successfully operating as a mixed gender group for many years.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
